Support Critical Resistance fight jail expansion, policing and imprisonment!

This past month I was been able to participate a grassroots fundraising workshop with Critical Resistance. Critical Resistance is a national grassroots organization building a movement to abolish the prison industrial complex.

My time at Critical Resistance has allowed me to envision our world without police and imprisonment, and illuminated the necessary and practical small steps we can take to radically support each other towards abolition everyday. Abolition is about closing jails and ending policing, but it also about building toward liberation for everyone, most especially people of color, poor people, queer people, immigrants, youth, disabled folks and other communities who are targeted and criminalized.

CR is mostly run by volunteers and is intentionally grassroots funded. It's small donations that pay for organizing necessities such as rent for a meeting space, printing, postage, and will allow this vital work to continue.
