Help sustain Critical Resistance Oakland!

It's been a huge inspiration for me to witness and take part in CR's work in the Bay Area. Just in the past year the Oakland chapter helped end the largest police militarization conference in the country, kept in touch with thousands of imprisoned people through the Abolitionist newspaper and mail nights, and is fighting to get people out of jail in San Francisco. This work is mostly done by unpaid members/volunteers and supported through small donations rather than foundation or government grants.

Any amount you're able to give would be amazing! This money will go towards things like meeting space, postage for mail nights, and creating art for mobilizations.

As I've learned from CR, abolition isn't just a vision for the future, it's also a practical and powerful strategy for us today. It's about closing jails and de-militarizing the police and also getting people what they need to live self-determined lives - housing, healthcare, education.
